What is the RBT Competency Assessment?
The RBT Competency Assessment, crafted by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), is a standardized test crucial for certifying individuals as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Its purpose is to ensure that candidates possess the requisite skills and knowledge for delivering high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients.
Comprising two components, the assessment includes a multiple-choice written exam covering diverse topics such as ethical considerations, measurement, assessment, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, documentation, and reporting. The second part involves a skills assessment, evaluating your capacity to apply ABA principles in practical, real-world scenarios.
