Dr. Indira Hightower

EdD, M.S. & BCBA-D

Dr. Indira Hightower earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) and a Masters of Science (M.S.) in Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fl.

It was while working in a group home as a Behavior Specialist with adults with developmental disabilities, Dr. Hightower found her true passion. She was introduced to the fascinating world of applied behavior analysis and mentored by a group of amazing BCBAs within the group home setting. The newfound love for ABA pushed her to change her career path of going to law school to instead receive a MS in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Dr. Hightower has over 10 years experience working within the field of ABA in a variety of settings and positions. She has experience providing quality therapy at clinics, schools, group homes and in the home. Indira is affectionately referred to as the child whisper among her colleagues  and she measures her success as a BCBA by the growth and development of the children and adults she has worked with over the years. It brings her great joy to enrich the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.
