Dr. Carrie Freimuth

Dr. Carrie Freimuth received her Ph.D. in the Experimental Analysis of Behavior from the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL in 2007. She was certified as a BCBA-D in 2005, and has served a prominent role in several major clinical-research programs, including The Florida Center on Self-Injury (National Institute of Mental Health Grant, 2002-2007), the Alachua County ARC Prader-Willi Syndrome Program (2004-2007), and the University of Florida Autism Program (Shands Hospital Division of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Grant, 2002-2006).
Dr. Carrie Freimuth served as a tenure-track faculty member in the Department of Psychology & Child Development at the California State University, Stanislaus, in Turlock, CA from 2007-2014, where she established a master’s-level training clinic in severe behavior disorders.
Dr. Carrie Freimuth has consulted in a multitude of settings and populations, ranging from sheltered workshops to intensive residential care facilities. She has published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, and has assisted with the translation of a behavioral academic research paper for sale glossary of terms to aid the development of Spain’s behavior-analyst certification process.
